Netscape Suggested Settings with CM/ECF

The first setting to check is how often it looks for updated pages from the server.

1. Open Netscape
2. Select Edit > Preferences
3. Click on the arrow next to Advanced to expand the list (If expanded, you should see the screen below.)
4. Select Cache
5. Check "Every time I view the page", under Compare the page in the cache to the page on the network. Click Ok

Second thing is to remove all temporary files that have been stored to your local computer while in ecf.

1. Select Edit > Preferences
2. Click on the arrow next to Advanced to expand the list.
3. Select Cache
4. Select Clear Cache and ok when completed

Note: Clearing the Cache is recommended on a routine basis. This will help your system to maintain optimum speed.
