Electronic Order Procedures

 

Format required see (sample attached)

  1. Leave a 3-inch margin from the top of the page to the first line of text

  2. On the last line of text in the order, enter three (3) pound signs (###), centered to indicate the end of the document. ( There should be one set of pound signs on the very last page of the order, including attachments.)

  3. Document must be in pdf format


Uploading order(s) into CM/ECF

Select Bankruptcy or Adversary / Order Upload
Select either:
Upload a Single Order
Upload Batch Orders (for Trustee use)
Upload an Order - no motion filed


Upload a Single Order:

  1. Enter case number

  2. Enter Related Document Number, if known (this is the document number of the motion to which the order relates). If you do not know the document number, select “Next” and choose the category(s) to which the order relates. (Note: only one document can be selected.)

  3. For Order type, select from the following:

    • Clerk Delegated Orders
    • Default Judgment
    • Ex Parte
    • Exceptional Circumstances
    • Hearing Held
    • Hearing Set - unopposed
    • Noticed - no hearing requested
    • Order Shortening Time
    • Status / Scheduling Conference Order
    • Stipulation
  4. Hearing Date

    Enter date if this order is a result of a hearing or if a hearing was set on the matter. (Note: Orders cannot be submitted for hearing dates in the future.)

  5. File to Upload

    Browse for the pdf file of your order

  6. A confirmation screen will appear confirming the upload

  7. You will receive your signed order via e-mail when docketed.


Upload an Order - no motion filed:
This is to be used when no motion is filed and requires no relating.

  1. For Order type, select from the following:
    • Clerk Delegated Orders
    • Default Judgment
    • Ex Parte
    • Exceptional Circumstances
    • Hearing Held
    • Hearing Set - unopposed
    • Noticed - no hearing requested
    • Order Shortening Time
    • Status / Scheduling Conference Order
    • Stipulation
  1. Order Description
    • Conditional Order of Dismissal
    • Scheduling Settlement Conference
    • Status / Scheduling Conference Order
    • Stipulated/Agreed Order to Extend the Discharge Date
    • Stipulation - no motion filed
  1. Hearing Date

    Enter date if this order is a result of a hearing or a hearing is set on the matter. (Note: Orders cannot be submitted for hearing dates in the future.)

  2. Enter Case Number

  3. File to upload

    Browse for the pdf file of your order

  4. A confirmation screen will appear confirming the upload

  5. You will receive your signed order via e-mail when docketed.
