District of Nevada – No Cash Policy

Effective March 1, 2018, the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, District of Nevada, will be cashless. Fees must be paid with either a cashier’s check, personal check or money order in U.S. funds, payable to US Bankruptcy Court for exact fee amount only. If paying installments, the amount must be the exact amount of each installment payment as ordered by the Court.

Payment of fees by credit/debit card or personal check is accepted for all payments, with the exception of Debtors, unless their case is closed.

Electronically filed items requiring a fee must be paid electronically. The Clerk’s Office does not accept payments over the counter for e-filed documents.

If sending payments by mail, make the cashier’s check or money order, in the exact amount, payable to: US Bankruptcy Court. Include the case name and case number on the payment. Mail to the office where the case was filed:

Payments made in cash will not be accepted.

A $53.00 Return Fee charge is assessed for any returned or dishonored payments.
